About Jana Elias
Jana Elias was born as a second child on 29 of August 1977 in the town of Zlin in Czech Republic (used to be Czechoslovakia)

Jana grew up in a very nice surrounding, in a warm and loving house with very creative mom, hardworking but still good sense of humor father, older brother and someone to look after - dog Agar (Aida).
They all had and still have very close to nature, outdoors, sports, music and arts. Even a country feeling in their house didn't change the fact living in the suburb of a pretty good size of a city Zlin with everyday events and happenings.
Since the childhood, her parents tried to teach her to be independent with a big part of love with it. Signing both children to sports schools, gymnastic classes, ski schools, track and field school, art school, and at least business Academy for the diploma and great future, but the major interest fell on drawing and it seemed like she never got tired of it.
The grandfather played very important role in her life, he was actually the major influence in her future life and art development, and he started with teaching her how to work with oil color paints by age of 8. He was the main and the best teacher. He was an awesome artist; only because of his not really good eyes and age of 83 he stopped doing paintings by now.
By age of 19, after finishing her Business Academy T. Bata she left to Holland expecting of new possibilities, meeting new people, learning languages and learning of independent life and how to value it. She found her inspiration there, in the land of great painters and art, and after when she returned to Czech Republic she was running her first oil paintings show (exhibition) which turned out very successful and brought her in the light. She realized the fact that painting was what made her very happy even in cloudy days.
It really does not matter what happens in our lives but very important is how we take it in our hearts. And even if she was meant to travel again, that made her life only more valuable and colorful with even more inspiration and different looks on life and the world.
And no matter where she is, very big part of her will still be into big dreams of drawing and drawing and drawing.
